4.5 starsLooks: Attractive cherry wood veneer. If you have a wall-mounted screen, it might be easier. One is real veneer, which is what these are, the cheaper line uses a textured vinyl.
Would it be ok to use this with a pair of TSX 440T? I use it with a pair of RTiA7 and it's good. However, I don't know how it'll perform with TSX 440T. Would this center speaker be adequate for my 4 Bose 301 and two small Bose height speakers using 7.1 home theater system Yes. Much more than adequate. This is a gargantuan sized speaker (foot print), and has tremendous range. Just make sure if you buy this, you have space for it. Also during setup with your surround receiver, you make sure you adjust the volume to the center channel. This Center Channel is the crowning piece of a surround system and has tremendous depth. It will add a whole new dimension to your 301's. You'll hear things that you've been missing. And pricewise, it's a steal. A 14 year old model still selling ? Don't buy it then. Polk makes newer models. Still an excellent speaker for the money. Does bi wiring make a noticable difference? This speaker is extremely efficient. Bi-Wiring shall not help at all UNLESS you have very weak receiver. For example, in my system. I am running Polk RTI A7 for Front Left and Right, Left and Right Surrounds, then Polk RTI A3 for 4 ATMOS Speakers. With this setup, my calibration still run the center at -2.5 DBs. All my speakers are using external 200 watt/channel amps.
