We are seeing sync at 80 instead of the expected 160 or 320 with an HP EH841A LTO3 inside a Dell PowerVault 110. I am running about 8 DLT drives off of it, handles the thruput.
This didn't come with any driver. Where do we find the driver for this older technology? If you are using a recent Linux kernel the driver is called CONFIG_FUSION in the kernel config. If it is not in your kernel you will have to install the modules somehow depending on your distribution. If you are using Windows 7 or 10 I think the driver is included in the windows drivers. What os have drivers for this scsi card? I can say for sure that Linux and Omnios (Illumos) work with native drivers. I'm pretty confident that BSD will be okay and you can find a driver for Windows but I haven't tried them. I want to connect a flextight scanner to a mac pro 2010. Will this work? none
